Ok - made it through a whole semester...and made the PRESIDENT'S LIST! I CAN do this! It has been a real challenge, complete with tornadoes, quitting my job, and a switch in majors, but I think I am finally on track.
On April 27th, my area,(heck, my whole state!) was ravaged by killer tornadoes. Seeing the devastation made me long to be able to help like I never had before. My kids and I volunteered in disaster relief, and did what we could, but I knew I wanted to do more. After prayerful consideration, I decided to become an RN, and so, now, I am working to get into Nursing School. I can clearly see God's Hand at work in my life, and I am so grateful! My prayer is that He will enable me to affect the lives of others in a good way, and that I will overcome the parts of MYSELF that stand in the way of that.
Praise God, I'm on my way!
